Ready-Set-Read Rally
Third grade students from all Chattahoochee-Flint RESA districts came together for an inspiring literacy event hosted in Americus, GA. Former NFL (and UGA) football player Malcolm Mitchell gave a phenomenal program as he read through his book "The Magician's Hat" with the thousands of 3rd graders in the SGTC gym. Each child was given his/her own copy of the book which was made possible, in part, by the Rotary Club of Americus who helped sponsor books for Sumter County students.
